BOMAC'S BRAND NAMES ALTRAC ALTRAC Altrac is an extruded aluminium rail that is used to construct cranes and fall arrest systems. This page outlines the general features of Altrac rail. STRONGBAC STRONGBAC StrongBac is used as a stiffener to allow Altrac to hold heavier loads while spanning longer lengths. SPECIFIC PRODUCT INFORMATION CRANES GANTRY A gantry crane consists of a cross shop rail connected to two downshop rails for complete XY axis coverage and can be straight or curved. JIBS Jib cranes have an arm attached to a pivot point on either a freestanding column or building structure such as a wall. They are ideal for repetitive lifting and moving over a relatively small area. MONORAILS Monorail cranes are a single rail that can be straight or curved to accommodate the size and shape of a production area. FALL ARREST FALL ARREST SYSTEMS Fall arrest systems are safety products for working at heights. These can be used for maintenance or installation purposes or for cleaning windows and building facades.
