Problem
Dandenong-based manufacturer, Foam Sealant, had a problem that many manufacturers would love to have. The demand for their product had increased beyond the capacity of their current facilities. They needed to expand to keep up.
Solution
For General Manager Chris Forster the solution was simple: call Bomac. The company had installed an Altrac jib crane in 2006 to lift 125kg rolls of foam into a slitting machine that cut the rolls into bands. The crane was easy to use and reliable. When a new slitting machine was added to the production line, there was no question that an Altrac jib crane would be installed as well.
Outcome
Foam Sealant has now doubled its production capability without compromising safety or efficiency. In the words of Forster, “great service, once again”.
